Expectant Parents: planning for the arrival of your multiples, your hospital stay, coming home and the early days with your multiples what equipment you will (and won't) need, getting help and support, breast and bottle feeding routines,  getting out and about with your multiples. Join us for lots of family fun including: - Elf Disco & Entertainment - Christmas craft - Jolly holiday treats - An extra special visit from Santa @ 11am (all registered children will receive a gift) & opportunity for photos after gift giving. As well as a family Christmas photo session. There is a small cost for this event, with a $25 fee per family, helping to cover some of the costs of bringing this party and photography to life for our members. Please purchase one ticket per family (includes 2 adults & all of your children) in your desired photo timeslot. This ticket admits you into the event & reserves your space for a family photo. If you would like to bring extended family (eg more than 2 adults or additional children outside of your children//step/foster children), you can register them by purchasing an additional ticket @ $5 per person (adult or child). This cost helps with catering and a gift for any extra children in attendance. We will have exclusive use of the venue, with pram friendly access, a playground, toilets and free onsite parking. There is also plenty of street parking near the venue. With approximately 60% of Twins, 90% of Triplets and 100% of Higher Order Multiples being born prior to 37 weeks our community of multiples often have time in either Special Care or Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Join the North Shore Sydney Multiple Birth Association on Sunday 19th October to celebrate all the wonderful premature babies in our community and support the Life's Little Treasures Foundation. Life's Little Treasures Foundation is one of Australia's leading charities dedicated to providing practical support, information and assistance to families of babies born prematurely or sick. Their services are available in hospital (neonatal & special care units) and in the community when families come home. This year instead of a Walk 4 Prems, we are switching things up and doing a "Picnic 4 Prems". Come anytime between 11am - 3pm, throw down a rug and enjoy some Dutch delicacies & drinks. Location: Dutch Club Sydney, 1 Grattan Crescent, Frenchs Forest The Dutch Club are a terrific volunteer run social club with a full kitchen & bar. This weekend in honour of the mini and micro-mini people in our lives, they will be serving up poffertjes (Dutch mini-pancakes) and other delights, with $1 from every bowl of poffertjes sold going to Life's Little Treasures Foundation.
